TWLC has satellite locations in Washington, D.C and has expanded to serve more than 150,000 middle and high school students in Philadelphia, Virginia, and Florida.

The USNA STEM Center for Education and Outreach is focused on the urgent national need for more young people to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Their SeaPerch program, funded by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) teaches students about science and engineering through building a fully functional remotely operated vehicle (ROV).
