The USNA STEM Center for Education and Outreach is focused on the urgent national need for more young people to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Their SeaPerch program, funded by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) teaches students about science and engineering through building a fully functional remotely operated vehicle (ROV).

Tiger Woods Learning Center (TWLC) launched in 2006 has reached students through its hands-on classes ranging from forensic science and aerospace to robotics, biotechnology, video production and graphic design. TWLC has satellite locations in Washington, D.C and has expanded to serve more than 150,000 middle and high school students in Philadelphia, Virginia, and Florida.

Great Minds in STEM™ focuses on STEM educational awareness programs for students from kindergarten to career. Great Minds in STEM™ provides resources for recognition and recruitment of Hispanics in STEM on a national level. Their Viva Technology™, a national K-12 education program, is designed to engage students, teachers and parents with STEM challenges that stimulate their interest in the application of technology.

American Society of Metals (ASM) International is the world's largest association of metals-centric materials scientists and engineers. ASM is dedicated to informing, educating and connecting the materials community to solve problems and stimulate innovation around the world. The teacher camps introduce methods that make math and science principles relevant to middle and high school students.
